As we close out the year and look forward to 2022 now is a good time to look back at your accomplishments in 2021 and plan for your success in 2022.  Hopefully, you will have some downtime over the holidays to focus your energy on your career.

During the challenges we have faced over the past couple of years it was easy to let things get away and not set clear goals and boundaries. We spent more time planning for the unexpected than we did planning for our future.   I’m energized by planning for next year, and I believe it’s going to be a good year.

JJ DiGeronimo, our speaker at The Women in Rental breakfast at The ARA Show this past October said, “Most of us work in our career, but not on our career.”  She recommended thinking about the next 12-24 months, and asking ourselves where do we want to have more influence and more impact in our lives? She also stressed the importance of pushing forward and taking on new projects and opportunities.  She encouraged us to ask for more responsibility and take on that challenge.

JJ shared with ARA some recommended podcast episodes that will inspire you and help you have more influence and impact in 2022. Take a break over the holidays and find some downtime to listen to her inspirational messages.

These can all be found on popular podcast platforms: Apple  and Google

As you develop your 2022 plan make sure to include The Rise Women in Rental Summit in your plans.  On January 25-26th we will hold our inaugural event in San Antonio, TX. We will be inspired by women speakers and network and have fun with women leaders in our industry.  I hope to see everyone in January at this event.  Registration information can be found here.

Let’s set our goals high for the women in our industry and make 2022 the best year yet!
