Robert Copley, CERP, here! I work for Event Essentials as the Sales Manager, where we serve the event segment of the rental industry.
How long have you been involved with ARA and the YPN and what makes you stay?
I started working in the rental industry in 2005 during the summers of my college years. There are many things about the industry that keep me around, but the biggest things would be our awesome staff and the great customers we have in our community.
What are you most excited about with your new role on the ARA Board of Directors coming up this February?
I'm really looking forward to meeting and supporting our members. I believe one of the best things about being part of the ARA is the networking opportunities the association provides. Traveling and doing store tours, attending other state chapter meetings, and getting to know other people across our region is going to be a great experience!
As a first time participant at the upcoming YP Conference in Scottsdale, what are you most looking forward to?
Everything really! I'm really looking forward to networking and getting to know the current and next generation that will continue to carry the rental industry and association into the future.
If you could only pick one, what event ARA puts on would you most encourage your fellow rental peers to participate in and why?
I would say The ARA Show! It's a great opportunity to see the industry as a whole - members, vendors, educational sessions, and networking opportunities all within a few days is a great way to continue to grow your business.
