ARA is always on a mission to drive consumers to think rental first, which is why in 2021 we launched a nationwide advertising campaign to promote the rental industry. For this campaign, we created four commercials targeting four segments of rental consumers that showcase the benefits of rental and the use of RentalHQ.com to find rental stores. To make these videos, the association teamed up with ARA members to use real rental equipment and real rental scenarios throughout — click here for a behind the scenes look at the process.

Once completed, the commercials were shared in a variety of ways to get in front of the eyes of rental consumers, including ads and videos on websites and networks that you might recognize, including Bob Vila, Coastal Living, Country Living, DIY Network, BizBash and more! As part of the overall campaign, the videos also are being shared on social media channels, YouTube and through a connected TV campaign — which includes the video ad being airing on select streaming programming including the DIY Network, HGTV and more.

As the campaign has continued, we want to give our members the opportunity to use these videos to promote their own businesses. Here are a few ways you can make this happen:

  • Create social media posts using our suggested language and links (described below)

  • Share ARA's social media posts of the commercials directly from the ARA Headquarter Facebook Page videos

  • Embed the YouTube links of the commercials into your store/showroom TV presentations from the ARA YouTube Channel

  • Use the YouTube links to send out in customer emails

Keep reading for examples of how you can share these videos on your social media pages, with customized text and photo examples. All you have to do is copy and paste our suggested text into your company’s social media, then add your company name and the video link, and you’ll be using our videos to promote your business in your community!
