Montana lunch and learn focuses on minimizing insurance loss

On Wednesday, June 9, ARA of Montana members were invited to maximize their lunch hour by learning ways to reduce business losses through the virtual lunch and learn, “The Power of COIs and Loss Payees.”

During the online power lunch, Geoff Zellers, of Zellers Financial and Insurance Services, Rexburg, Idaho, and an ARA Insurance preferred agent, discussed ways to minimize losses on insurance policies and how a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and loss payee policies have helped other American Rental Association (ARA) members.

“The topic of COIs was huge for me as I am making the move internally to get a copy from all customers. I think it makes them more accountable with our equipment,” says Steve Ricci, president and owner, Bigfork Rentals, Bigfork, Mont., and ARA Region Eight director. “Geoff Zellers did a great job and kept our interest.”

Besides the education, Zellers delivered lunch for the participants. Those who made a reservation for the meeting in advance received a complimentary lunch provided and delivered by Zellers Financial and Insurance Services.
