Hello, Region One members. I hope you are busy and that life is returning to a type of normal as we continue to move past the pandemic.
As the economy ramps up, the big challenge facing so many businesses in our industry and beyond is finding people to work. It just seems harder than ever before. To assist with this, the American Rental Association (ARA) has created a new job board where you can post open positions. The first five job postings on the ARA Job Board are free to members who use the promo code ARA-5Free. This is a great way to advertise your open positions to job seekers.
If you are lucky enough to add new workers to your team, be sure to sit them down in front of ARA’s RentalU for training designed to make them better rental employees and improve your customers’ experience. RentalU was refined in June to feature easier navigation and added content designed to help users zero in on specific skill sets, and even features “Getting Started in Rental?” courses for new staff.
I hope you’re as excited about The ARA Show™ in Las Vegas as I am seeing that it is just around the corner. By the time the show rolls around, it will have been a long 20 months since many of us have connected with friends in the industry at the last show in Orlando. Show registration is now open and hotels are booking fast, so make your plans today and be sure to check out the Show Planner, which was packaged with your June issue of Rental Management.
I look forward to actually seeing you all at upcoming state chapter meetings and in Las Vegas at The ARA Show. Until then, have a safe and profitable summer.
