Jamco, Sanford, Fla., a provider of forklift rental services across Florida, has announced that it now offers customers the option of paying with cryptocurrencies.
“We are constantly evaluating methods to improve customers’ experience when renting equipment from Jamco,” said Carol Fontanez, rental manager for Jamco, who also serves as ARA of Florida secretary. “We strive to make it as seamless as possible with same-day delivery as we understand time is of the essence in the rental business. Offering clients the option to pay with crypto gives us an edge over our competitors and puts us in the forefront in adapting technology.”
“Cryptocurrencies, or virtual currencies, are quickly gaining mass adaption and it is going to be a major part of how we conduct business in the future,” says Tim Jamal, Jamco vice president. “Cryptocurrencies make it easier, faster and cheaper to transfer funds directly between two parties without the need for a third party like a credit card company to settle transactions. Sending payment via crypto can be done with a few simple clicks or a QR scan from your cell phone, and transaction settlements are instant. We want to continue to be industry leaders in the rental segment and the more options we can provide our customers, the better it positions our company.”
Established in 1986, Jamco specializes in forklifts, rough terrains, telehandlers, scissor lifts and more. With locations in North Orlando and East Tampa, the company offers equipment ranging from 1,100 to 65,000-lb. capacities.
