Hello, Region Seven members,
It was awesome to connect with so many of you at The ARA Show™ in Las Vegas. What a great event! The trade show floor was busy and full of exhibitors, the keynote was inspiring, the educational sessions offered super takeaways and the socializing from the Oktoberfest to the combined regional receptions was so much fun. After everything we have gone through as an industry and a nation, I can’t tell you how nice it was just to gather again.
If you weren’t able to attend the show or didn’t get enough of it when you were in Las Vegas, head down to Grapevine, Texas, March 9-10 for the American Rental Association (ARA) Rental Innovation Conference & Exhibits. Watch your email for information on how to take part. It will be an event that could really move your business forward.
Thank you to everyone who voted in the ARA elections. Those are important decisions, and Colorado’s own Mary Crosslin with Alert Rental Software was elected to the role of ARA associate member director. Congratulations, Mary.
ARA of Arizona also held its board elections recently. Please thank all those who serve and offer a special welcome to new board member Maureen Wendelberger. Learn more about her in this issue of In Your Region.
Our region has been very busy hosting events these past few months with more scheduled soon. Take a look in this issue for event recaps on the ARA of Colorado’s Rockies baseball game event and the ARA of Arizona’s leadership training in which the chapter raised funds for the United Food Bank. Watch your email for upcoming events. I know the ARA of Colorado is already planning its holiday party for Dec. 8.
Now also is the time to take advantage of the resources ARA offers, including:
- The ARA Job Board, which connects your job to so many prominent job-seeker platforms. Take advantage of the five free postings, too. You can’t beat that deal.
- RentalU educational videos and courses. There are so many offerings for every job description. This is a member resource designed just for those of us in rental. ARA is always adding exciting new offerings, so watch for news on the latest updates that can benefit everyone at your operation.
