The ARA of California board selects officers

The ARA of California board has appointed the following officers to serve during 2021:

• Alberto Pianelli, general manager, F & B Rentals, Santa Ana, will continue to serve as president. 
• Jared Medaris, CERP, president, Expo Party Rentals, Fresno, will be the new vice president. He replaces Nancy Fregoso, who retired from the industry. 
• Matt Crawford, owner, Far West Rents & Ready Mix, Lincoln, will continue as treasurer.
• Rachel Kidder, human resources manager and one of the owners of Orbit Event Rentals, Santa Fe Springs, will continue as secretary.

Medaris is excited to serve as the new vice president of the board. “I love being involved in volunteer opportunities like this because California is so big geographically. It helps me stay in tune with other rental businesses in my state,” he says.

Medaris has been on the board for the past two years, “even though sometimes it seems like last year didn’t exist, but I am really looking forward to serving in this capacity and being able to know more members better this year. I also think it is important we continue to work together as we navigate the changes to the industry that have been brought on by the pandemic,” he says.
