Take this opportunity to become a Certified Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Trainer on Nov. 9. The certification program’s hands-on training, hosted by the ARA of Louisiana, will be taught by an American Rental Association (ARA) Certified Master Trainer.
The hands-on training, which will be available in the morning and afternoon, is for those who pass the self-paced online course, which is available through RentalU. All participants must complete the online course at least 48 hours before attending the hands-on training. The combined online course and hands-on program qualifies graduates to train their staff using ARA materials that satisfy Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and the new American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A92 standards.
The registration fee, which is a discounted price thanks to the ARA of Louisiana, covers the online course through RentalU, the hands-on training, certificate of completion and lunch. Attendance is limited to 10 people per training session.
Morning session:
Time and date: 8 a.m. to noon, Nov. 9, with lunch following
Location: Oge’s Rent-All Center, Lafayette, La.
