Current ARA resources and benefits explained at virtual event

Members of the Missouri equipment and event rental industry took an hour out of their busy season to gather virtually on April 20 to receive the lowdown on the latest American Rental Association (ARA) resources that can benefit their businesses.

The ARA of Missouri’s spring online offering featured guest speaker James Auerbach, ARA vice president, event segment and rental industry workforce development, who discussed:

  • ARA’s workforce development resources, including the ARA Job Posting Portal (and how members can receive five free postings on the job posting portal for a limited time using the code ARA-5Free2022.)
  • ARA business insurance and the new ARA Healthcare Solution program.
  • RentalU — ARA’s online education platform offering an extensive library of training courses and segment-specific education.
  • RentalHQ — How ARA is driving customers to member businesses through the world’s largest and most comprehensive rental store locator.
  • Advocacy — How rental operators can get involved.
  • Professional partnership programs and networking opportunities available through the association.

“James did a good job explaining what is offered by ARA. I think it was helpful. I haven’t used it yet, but I am going to take advantage of the five free postings offered on the ARA Job Posting Portal,” says Dawn Weinhardt, owner, Weinhardt Party Rentals, St. Louis, who also serves as ARA of Missouri secretary.
