Rental Works, Greensboro, N.C., has more than doubled its rental revenue between 2019 and 2021, and is one of several companies of different sizes that have submitted information to Rental Management to be considered and recognized as a “Market Mover.”

Andrew Freeman, manager, Rental Works, responded to our request and reports that his company generated about $1.85 million in revenue in 2019, grew to more than $2.3 million in 2020 and reached $3.8 million in rental revenue in 2021.

“We were able to achieve significant growth through hiring the best people we could find and focusing a lot of effort on driving sales. We gained a lot of new customers in 2021. We also increased our fleet, which allowed for more growth, but our sales efforts and good people were the real drivers of the growth,” Freeman says.

It’s not just the national companies that are moving the market forward, but the many independent rental stores that make up the backbone of the equipment and event rental community, so Rental Management wants to hear from you.
