Panache Events acquires So Cool Events

Panache Events, Pompano Beach, Fla., acquired So Cool Events, Miami, on Dec. 30, 2021.

John Bibbo, president and CEO of Panache Events and Event Source, Cleveland, — a special event rental supply company and holding company of Panache Events — said, “This acquisition will help the companies continue their growth trajectory and provide even more options to clients of both companies. Our goal is to maintain the trusted relationships So Cool Events has developed and layer in our experience from working with event planners, caterers, corporate food services and venues of all sizes.”

Previous So Cool Event owners Meg and Dean Holderman will continue to be part of the transition.

“In planning for the succession of the So Cool Events brand, finding a company with exceptional ability to deliver and maintain the high-quality standards of So Cool Events was paramount. We wanted a company that would value our experienced team members and a company that could serve our diverse local and national clients, including our national sporting events,” said Meg Holderman.

“Although COVID-19 delayed the completion of this acquisition, it gave Panache Events and So Cool Events time to strengthen our partnership and confirm our shared core values. We have a 20-plus year history with many of our clients and passing the torch on to another family-owned business will ensure our clients continue to receive exceptional, personalized service,” she added.
