James Bruner, 73, of Maineville, Ohio, died May 12, 2021. Bruner was the previous owner of All American Event and Party Rental Center, Cincinnati, which rebranded to Cincinnati Event Rental in 2016 after he retired and sold the company to his son, Kevin Bruner. The company was later purchased by Prime Time Party Rental, Dayton, Ohio.
Bruner was active in the American Rental Association (ARA) during his time in the industry. He previously served as Region Five director and ARA of Ohio president. He also served as a past Greater Cincinnati Tool Rental Association president. In 1993, Bruner received ARA’s Region Five Person of the Year award.
Bruner is survived by his wife, Linda Bruner; son, Kevin (Cindy) Bruner; son-in-law, Eric Nusbaum; grandchildren, Maddie and Ella Nusbaum, and Owen, Amelia and Audrey Bruner; siblings, Bob Bruner, Don Bruner and Barb Leik.
