Lind Equipment rebrands UVC LED system

Lind Equipment, Markham, Ontario, Canada, has renamed its Lind Apollo UVC LED System to Victory UVC LED Decontamination System. The rebrand comes not long after the company reported that the product’s technology kills at least 99.99 percent of SARS-CoV-2.

“We chose the name ‘victory’ to represent our UVC products because of the presented long-term victory over pathogens in shared spaces. UVC LED light for decontamination will be the future of disease control in a post-Covid-19 world,” said Brian Astl, president, Lind Equipment.

The company’s original product, the Lind Apollo UVC LED Light is now the Victory Agile UVC LED light. Other Victory UVC LED Light System products include the Apollo Casino Chip Cleaner to the newly renamed Victory Chip UVC LED Cleaner. The Apollo UVC Conveyor Unit has been renamed the Victory Advance UVC LED Decontamination Conveyor.
