The Benefits

The importance of training

Everyone who operates a forklift is required to be trained according to federal regulations. ARA created the Forklift Train-the-Trainer program so professionals can satisfy OSHA requirements and the ANSI standards.

Completing this training will increase safety, reduce accidents, decrease downtime, and add more value for you, your staff, and your customers.

ARA’s Certified Forklift training programs vs. other forklift certifications or trainings

ARA's Certified Forklift training programs are customized for the rental industry. They are concise, engaging, and straightforward because the programs were designed with our members in mind. We understand that working in rental is a demanding job. Taking a few days off to complete training is not usually an option for rental staff.

ARA's Train-the-Trainer program consists of 4-5 hours of a self-paced, online (theory) course and a 4 hour in-person training, making it an efficient and effective developmental opportunity for rental employees.

Earn revenue while training your customers

As a qualified Forklift Trainer, you can lead ARA’s Forklift Operator Training program for your customers. This ARA offering will not only make it easy for you to meet these new ANSI standards and keep your customers safe, but also bring in additional revenue while building better relationships with your renters.

You must complete ARA’s Forklift Train-the-Trainer program to train your customers. Apply to become an ARA Certified Forklift Trainer today!
