The benefits

Why are MEWP training programs important?

Everyone who operates a MEWP at your facility is required to be trained according to federal regulations. ARA created the MEWP Train-the-Trainer and MEWP Operator Training so you can satisfy OSHA requirements and the new ANSI A92 standards. Completing this training will increase safety, reduce accidents, decrease downtime, and add more value for your customers.

What sets ARA’s MEWP trainings apart from other MEWP certifications or trainings?

ARA’s MEWP training programs are customized for the equipment rental industry. They are concise, engaging, and straightforward because they were designed with our members in mind. We understand that working in equipment rental is a demanding job. Taking a few days off to complete training is not usually an option for rental staff. ARA’s MEWP training consists of 8-10 hours of online and in-person training, making it an efficient and effective training option for rental employees.

ARA’s training saves time by handling the entire classroom portion online with the trainer only being required to host the hands-on portion of the training. Also, ARA further reduces liability by discussing various brands of lifts that may be encountered in the field.
