Attendees of The ARA Show™ in Las Vegas have the opportunity to hear an inspiring story from the first female F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy — Carey Lohrenz. She will present the keynote address, sponsored by ARA Insurance, at The ARA Show™ 2021 in Las Vegas on Oct. 18.
The show, scheduled for Oct. 17-20, starts with a day of education sessions on Sunday, Oct. 17, at Resorts World, followed by a three-day trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The trade show will kick off at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 18, following the Keynote Session, which starts at 8 a.m.
During the session, Lohrenz will share her fascinating experiences operating in one of the world’s most challenging environments — an aircraft carrier. She also will talk about the fundamentals that helped her win under pressure, reduce errors and overcome obstacles.
Lohrenz is used to working in fast-moving, dynamic environments where inconsistent execution can bring catastrophic results. These challenges are not that different from what equipment and event rental businesses face: Markets change, customer needs evolve and so does the need to adapt quickly.
As a high content keynote speaker, who is both motivational and inspirational, Lohrenz’s message inspires fearless leadership and increased team performance. She is the author of “Fearless Leadership: High-Performance Lessons from the Flight Deck” and is currently working on her master’s degree in Business Administration in Strategic Leadership.
