In less than three months, the equipment and event rental industry will gather in Las Vegas for The ARA Show™ scheduled for Oct. 17-20. The show will include a full day of education sessions, numerous networking events and a three-day trade show featuring more than 600 exhibitors.
It will all kick off on Sunday, Oct. 17 at Resorts World — a brand new Las Vegas property. Here attendees will gather for a day of learning with 16 education sessions being offered. These sessions will be categorized into four tracks: business management; leadership and culture; technology and human resources; and event.
There will not be an Events & Tents program this year, but those in the party and event rental industry can learn about event safety, adapting and building tent inventory, and job costing in the event-specific education track.
The trade show will be held Oct. 18-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and will feature three product sections — construction, general tool and event. Attendees will find exclusive deals from hundreds of exhibitors. Show-Only Specials will range from pricing discounts to free shipping and other incentives.

Why are you going to The ARA Show 2021 in Las Vegas and what are you looking forward to the most?
“Why am I going? Well, because I never like to miss The ARA Show™. I know that we may be really busy, but I think it’s extremely important, especially of all years, to support our industry. Any members who can go should attend. The thing I’m looking forward to most is seeing everyone. I can’t wait to see vendors I haven’t seen in over a year and other rental peers.”
— Brandon Ahlgren, CERP, owner, Elite Events & Rentals, Tampa, Fla.
“This will be my first time attending The ARA Show as president of EQ Rentals, a new equipment rental company serving Atlanta. I’m excited to represent my company while participating in a panel discussion about technology use in a small equipment rental operation.”
— Robert Douville, president, EQ Rentals, Atlanta
“We look forward to The ARA Show every year and try to attend as much as possible. It’s fun to see new, exciting items and be able to physically touch and feel items we’re considering bringing into our fleet. The whole world has been in isolation for a year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. To help fill the void, a lot of us started interacting with other rental operators electronically and have grown to appreciate and respect each other. We are all excited to finally meet each other in person. What better place is there to do it than Las Vegas?”
— Ed Craddock, owner, True Value Rental of Bay City, Bay City, Mich.
“We go to purchase new gear and equipment. We also enjoying networking with our peers from other companies.”
— Tim Boyle, CERP, executive vice president, U.S. Tent Rental, Sarasota, Fla.
“We are going to The ARA Show 2021 because it is the largest gathering of rental industry professionals in the world. The show allows us to view new products and trends, evaluate industry pricing, and network with new and old friends. Interacting with our industry peers is by far what we look forward to the most. Whether it is 10 minutes after the show opened or 20 after it closed for the day, our booth stays packed and has the vibe of a family reunion.”
— Joshua Miller, president/CEO, RSS Distributors, Manheim, Pa.
“I will be attending The ARA Show because it is a great opportunity to meet with equipment manufacturers, network with other rental store owners and purchase equipment at member discounts. These discounts are extremely valuable because of the high cost of freight to Hawaii. I’m most looking forward to walking the show floor. It’s been too long.”
— Michelle Nelson, president, MK Equipment Corp., Honolulu
