New equipment fact sheets help with the rental process

The new equipment fact sheets from the American Rental Association (ARA) are designed to be a quick reference on certain pieces of equipment to help anyone working behind a rental counter. Each fact sheet offers a variety of important information.

The first sheet covers skid steers and includes the following details:

• Equipment name and photo.
• Common sizes.
• Common uses.
• Recommended personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Required/recommended trainings.
• Additional information. This includes different versions and styles of skid steers, attachment options and more.

“These equipment fact sheets are being designed with ARA members in mind. Members reached out and asked for tip sheets on equipment that is rented regularly,” says Angela Crouse, ARA director of education. “Our hope is that these sheets can be printed off and placed on the rental counter and used as a quick reference when rental employees are answering customer questions.”

ARA members can access this material free of charge by logging into RentalU at ARArental.org/rentalu and searching “skid steer equipment fact sheet.”
