American Rental Association (ARA) general members have approved Steve Mau as the new president-elect for the association. 

Scott Irwin, president, Delux Rental, Ypsilanti, Mich., will become the American Rental Association’s (ARA) 60th president in March.

Equipment rental revenue, comprised of the construction/industrial and general tool segments, is expected to grow by nearly 10 percent in 2022 to reach a record total of $52.3 billion, topping the $50.9 billion recorded in 2019, according to the latest forecast released in early November by the American Rental Association (ARA).

The outlook for equipment rental revenue, comprised of the construction/industrial and general tool segments, is very positive for 2022 and beyond. 

Beth Hoff Blackmer, president, Aspen Rent-All, Basalt, Colo., has served as an American Rental Association (ARA) officer for the last three years, including president-elect in 2019, as ARA’s 58 president in 2020, becoming the second female to serve in that role; and as board chair in 2021.
