Purpose: Recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact on the rental industry at the national and/or international level.
Eligibility: Any individual associated with the equipment and event rental industry whose significant contribution changed the industry in a positive manner is eligible for consideration. The members of the Industry Awards Committee and members of all ARA Boards during the year of nomination and induction are ineligible. Current and past staff members of ARA and its subsidiary organizations also are ineligible.

Criteria: Nominees will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
Leadership: Describe how the individual has influenced, motivated and enabled others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the rental industry.
Industry Impact: Describe the individual’s exceptional achievements that have impacted the rental industry. How has the rental industry been changed by the nominee’s impact and contributions?
Ingenuity: What techniques, innovations, inventions, or unique approaches by the nominee resulted in positive changes for the industry?
Industry Stability: Long-term commitment to the rental industry that endures into the future. What proactive changes did the nominee facilitate in the rental industry to ensure continued business growth and sustainability?
Personal Commitment: A measure of the nominee’s passion and commitment to the betterment of the rental industry. In what ways have they voluntarily taken on responsibilities and fulfilled obligations?
