In addition, anyone at least 20 years old, have the capacity to read and understand English, and are physically and mentally able to operate a forklift is eligible to participate in ARA’s Forklift Train-the-Trainer program.
The program is made up of two portions – a self-paced, online portion (theory) and an in-person, hands-on portion.
As part of both programs, participants will complete the hands-on, in-person training portion in addition to the online, self-paced portion. Both ARA National and ARA State Associations host trainings. Check here for these opportunities. Forklift Operator trainings are led by trained rental professionals. Contact your rental employer or a facility near you using RentalHQ.com to determine availability. Don’t see a training event near you? Register to have an ARA instructor to host an in-person training at your facility.
