The ARA Show™ 2023 will be back in Orlando on Feb. 11-15. The show will be packed with two days of education, numerous networking events and a three-day trade show featuring hundreds of exhibitors at the Orange County Convention Center North/South Building. With registration opening Oct. 18, below is an overview of all the show has to offer as attendees begin to prepare for their trip.
Education. The show will kick off with two new education opportunities on Saturday, Feb. 11 — Future of Equipment Rental and EventsU (formerly Events & Tents). Future of Equipment Rental will include education sessions featuring industry experts who will cover best practices, technologies and innovative ideas. The day will kick off with a networking breakfast followed by a keynote session featuring Steve Jones of Dodge Construction Data & Analytics and Dale Asplund of United Rentals. A closing cocktail reception also is scheduled.
EventsU will start the day with a welcome breakfast and keynote session featuring Ivy Robinson who will present “Creating the Perfect Marriage Between Event Rental Companies and Event Planners.” Education sessions led by nationally known experts and industry veterans will be held throughout the morning and afternoon. EventsU will include a lunch session, “Stump the Event Sales Guru,” with Alan Berg. Attendees also will have the opportunity to attend the EventsU Reception to be held that evening.
A full day of education is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 12. These rental-specific sessions will offer content on a variety of topics for industry professionals at any level. The day will include 16 education sessions organized into four tracks:
- Learn and Lead Track
- Connect and Collaborate Track
- Empower and Engage Track
- Plan and Strategize Track
Events. Attendees of The ARA Show have the unique opportunity to network with thousands of others from the equipment and event rental industry. Events throughout the show provide the setting to meet others, discuss trends in other markets and get advice from peers. On Sunday, Feb. 12, the ARA Industry Awards Lunch and ARA Young Professional Network (YPN) Reception will be held.
Daymond John will present the Keynote Session on Monday, Feb. 13, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. A Welcome Reception will be held that evening from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the ARAPAC Reception, which kicks off at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s schedule includes the Women in Rental Breakfast, the Show Floor Reception, the ARA Foundation Charity Auction and Reception, and ARA’s Tuesday Night Event at Universal Studios Orlando.
Trade show. The trade show floor — open Feb. 13-15 — will be packed with hundreds of exhibitors. Many will be offering Show-Only Specials. These deals range from pricing discounts to free shipping and more. Check ARAshow.org for a list of companies offering Show-Only Specials.
