Finding and keeping quality employees has been a challenge for all rental operations. This is particularly true for smaller businesses because they haven’t been able to compete on the benefits front. Well, the American Rental Association (ARA) has helped level the playing field, thanks to its new customized health care option, which launched May 1.
The new Allstate Benefits Self-Funded Program is a result of a partnership between ARA, Allstate Benefits and Hub International. This program gives members cost savings and flexibility while providing quality health benefits that comply with the Affordable Care Act.
With the Allstate Benefits Self-Funded Program, ARA members receive:
• Customizable plan designs making it easy to find the right fit for your group.
• Level-funding — offering one predictable monthly payment.
• An opportunity to receive money back in years when claims are lower than expected.
• An experienced team of people who always are ready to provide expertise before, during and after you’ve chosen your plan.
“We are very excited to be able to offer this important option for our members,” says Marcy Wright, ARA’s chief operating officer. “We have been working on this for quite a while because we understand
the need for such a program. All the pieces have come together. By teaming with Allstate Benefits and Hub International, we now have a dedicated team of experts who can help our members access affordable health care coverage for their employees.”
Being able to offer health care coverage can be a game-changer in the eyes of prospective and current employees. “Health insurance is the most desired benefit that employees are looking for,” Wright says. “If ARA members can take advantage of this program, that will make them more competitive and better able to retain staff they have or recruit new staff because they can offer richer benefits.”
