The donations and memorials offered during the first quarter of 2022 demonstrate how much the programs offered by the ARA Foundation mean to those in the equipment and event rental community.
The support offered during this period allows the ARA Foundation to assist those in the industry through:
Scholarships: Students who are furthering their education to build careers in the industry had until March 7 to apply for more than $128,000 in scholarships for the 2022-23 school year. These scholarships will be awarded later this summer.
Employee Training Assistance: This financial assistance program allows rental operators to train their employees without having to shoulder all the financial burden. In 2022, the assistance awards offered through the program increased from $1,000 to $2,500 to help offset the rising costs to obtain essential training.
Disaster Relief: The ARA Foundation offers monetary grants that help rental businesses and their employees who have been seriously impacted by disasters like tornadoes, floods, hurricanes and fires.
Mentoring Program: This program can help American Rental Association (ARA) members share knowledge, ideas, and build a professional network, and aids less experienced members in gaining expertise.
Community Impact: Through this partnership with The Toro Company Foundation, equipment and event rental businesses have the opportunity to participate in service projects to give back to their communities while raising the profile of rental locally.
