ARA Government Affairs Committee

Members of the Government Affairs Committee come from both the general and associate membership of ARA and are appointed by the ARA president. The primary responsibility of the Government Affairs Committee is to set ARA’s annual legislative and regulatory agenda and to monitor the implementation of that agenda. One major part of the implementation of the legislative agenda is through the National Legislative Caucus which is held each spring in Washington, D.C. The Government Affairs Committee is responsible for planning the Caucus program and acting as the official hosts for the Caucus.
