Nesco Holdings has completed the acquisition of Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) in partnership with Platinum Equipment and has changed its name to Custom Truck One Source, Kansas City, Mo. The purchase price was $1.475 billion. Nesco and Custom Truck One Source are leading providers of specialized truck and heavy equipment solutions, including rental, sales and aftermarket parts and service.

Led by Fred Ross, CTOS co-founder and CEO, the combination creates a one-stop-shop provider of specialty rental equipment that serves infrastructure end markets, including the transmission and distribution energy grid, the 5G build-out, rail and other national infrastructure initiatives.

“We are truly excited about bringing these two great companies together,” Ross said. “We believe that our stockholders will realize the benefits of the combination as we create one of the largest specialty rental fleets in the country.”
