H&E Equipment Services opens three new locations

Apr. 11, 2021

H&E Equipment Services, Baton, Rouge, La., has recently opened three new locations one in Tennessee, Texas and Georgia. On April 5, the company opened its Murfreesboro branch, its fourth in Tennessee. The 14,200-sq.-ft. facility sits on nine acres with a fully fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse, and a repair shop with six service bays and an overhead crane. The branch is located off I-24, 25 miles southeast of H&E’s Nashville, Tenn., branch.

“Murfreesboro is the sixth largest city in Tennessee, currently growing at a rate of more than 3.5 percent. Population growth since the 2010 census has exceeded 21 percent, and the trend is predicted to continue with additional spread between neighboring communities. Countless slated projects supporting infrastructure expansion as well as commercial, industrial and residential building indicate that a well-positioned branch in southeast middle Tennessee is warranted,” said Carl Ash, branch manager.

“Our Nashville branch has developed strong customer partnerships; leveraging our combined coverage of the greater Murfreesboro and Nashville areas will ensure that a higher standard of service and support is provided to all middle Tennessee H&E customers during this exciting time of growth in our market,” Ash said.

On April 7, the company also opened a new branch in Longview, Texas, bringing the number of H&E locations in the state to 22. The 8,200-sq.-ft. facility sits on 2.3 acres with a fully fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse and a repair shop with five service bays. It will serve customers in northeast Texas.

“We’ve strategically located our new Longview branch to service multiple markets in East Texas. The facility sits between Tyler and Marshall, the two largest cities in the region, and it extends the reach between our existing branches in the growing markets of Dallas and Shreveport,” says Trey Austin, branch manager. “By working in tandem with our other H&E facilities, we’ve created significant operational efficiencies that will enable us to expand our local customer base as well as deliver even better support to our current customers.”

On April 9, a branch opened in Macon, Ga., the company’s fourth in the state. The 18,800-sq.-ft. facility sits on 7.5 acres with a fully fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse, and a repair shop with eight service bays and several overhead cranes. It will service customers in central Georgia and covers the territory between Macon and existing facilities in Atlanta and Opelika, Ala.

“With the Air Force base in Warner Robins and the continuing expansion of the largest industrial market in the state, the middle Georgia area — and Macon specifically — was our primary focus for growth,” said Tim Price, branch manager. “The ongoing reconstruction of the I-75/I-16 interchange makes Macon the perfect location to tie our Atlanta, Savannah and north Florida markets together. With machines and resources on all sides, we’ll be able to even more efficiently provide whatever our customers may need.”
