Since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began, the American Rental Association’s (ARA) government affairs team and ARA’s volunteer leaders have been working tirelessly to help those impacted. 

The employees of one rental store have a routine they follow with every rental.

An active shooter is defined as an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area; in most cases, active shooters use firearms and there is no pattern or method to their selection of victims — according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

We’ve all heard the sayings “Truth is stranger than fiction” and “If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it.” One rental store owner and her employees lived through just that this summer.
