Party Reflections, Charlotte, N.C., has acquired the assets of Old South Collection, based in Catawba, N.C.
Party Reflections operates from five locations and is routinely listed as a “Top 30” event rental company in the U.S. Old South Collection, a special event boutique rental company in the greater Charlotte market, was founded and operated by Samantha Mason, who will stay on with Party Reflections as a consultant for a transition period.
“For years, we have watched Samantha build her business from scratch and we could not have been more pleased when she offered us the chance to take her company to the next level. We are constantly looking at new opportunities to bring our customers different and unique product offerings, and we felt Old South Collection would be a perfect fit and give us a platform to grow a new division of the business,” said Dan Hooks, CERP, president of Party Reflections and American Rental Association (ARA) board chair.
“We are thrilled to have sold our business to Dan and Party Reflections,” Mason said. “It’s a great fit and I’m confident they can take what we’ve built and grow it from here. Our customers will be better served with the broad range of rental items and services that Party Reflections offers. I’d also like to thank Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors for his handling of the entire process and making this deal possible.”
“Old South Collection will be rebranded as PR Design and will operate solely out of the Charlotte location of Party Reflections for the near future as we grow the stylistic offerings with help from our partners and clients in the market,” Hooks added.
Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors represented Old South Collection in the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
