Greetings, American Rental Association (ARA) members! My name is Jim Allen, ARA member services account specialist. I joined ARA in 2021 and am pleased to serve as your primary contact with the association.
I was raised in Moline, Ill., home of ARA’s headquarters, and currently reside in the nearby community of Coal Valley. I enjoy golf in my spare time and am proud to have spent nearly four years serving our country as a member of the U.S. Marines while stationed in Orange County, Calif.
If I had to put my finger on one specific ARA product or service that particularly excites me about the value of membership, it would have to be RentalU — ARA’s online education platform. While I find The ARA Show™ to be a great forum for networking, meeting vendors and education, I personally am amazed by what RentalU has to offer. The quantity of topics, paired with the quality of content, is just incredible for meeting the education and training needs for everyone in the equipment and event rental industry.
