On June 8, the ARA of Georgia hosted a fun evening of Atlanta Braves baseball action at Truist Park — complete with a decked-out luxury suite.
The game turned out to be a win for the Braves, who pummeled the visiting Oakland Athletics, and ARA of Georgia members cheered on the home team in luxury from the Home Depot Clubhouse suite
featuring a high-definition TVs, climate-controlled interior, private restroom, and food and drinks.
“Truly a ton of fun,” says Steven Eisenstein, CERP, president, Classic Tents & Events, Norcross, Ga., and an ARA of Georgia board member, of the outing. “And the Braves passed out the replicas of the 2021 World Series championship rings, too! The sound from the fireworks was right next to us, so it was a loud game with the Braves winning 13 -2.”
Others in attendance also praised the event for the blend of venue and networking opportunities.
“The event was awesome. There’s no better place to bring folks together than a Braves baseball game — but I’m a fan and a little biased! It was great to see some old friends and make a few new ones,” says Scott Place, senior vice president, sales, Lew Hudson Sales, Lawrenceville, Ga.
John Keller, CEO of FLEXTC, Austell, Ga., also appreciated the networking offered by the event. “We had a great time connecting with other ARA [American Rental Association] members at the Home Depot Clubhouse. It offered terrific hospitality, view of the game and conversations. I’m looking forward to the next opportunity to get together,” he says.
“The great energy and atmosphere at the ballpark made it easy for everyone to network,” says Joe Langehaug, regional sales, event, commercial and rapid deployment for Frederick, Md.-based Losberger De Boer. “It also didn’t hurt that the seats were good and the beer was cold. Having the ARA of Georgia event at the Braves games was a great idea.”
