Criteria
 
Employees in the industry with a minimum of 1,000 hours are eligible to receive assistance.

We support rental careers:

Hospitality services

If your staff is interested in the CERP program, tenting training, or other hospitality services training, encourage them to apply.

Commercial driving

If your staff is interested in commercial driving education courses, encourage them to apply.

Mechanical and electrical

Keep your technicians up to date by encouraging them to apply for training assistance.

Any training that supports a career in the equipment and event rental industry may be eligible for a ARA Foundation Employee Training Program.

The ARA Foundation will cover 50% of training costs, up to $2,500 per employee, at a maximum of two employees – amounting to a total of $5,000 in financial assistance per member each year.

Each grant will cover up to 50 percent of the cost of training, with a maximum award of $2,500. Travel, tool or supply expenses are not covered.

    Grant funding will be sent to the employer following the completion of the training. A certificate of completion is required for reimbursement. There is a six-month time limit for completion of the training. Any exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
